Steward's sugar mommy story.

Ted was a boastful and conceited senior steward. He thought he was handsome and tall when he was not. His ambition in life was to be a gigolo meaning making a living off rich women by satisfying them sexually.

On his flights,Ted would look out for old rich looking female passengers and befriend them. Why old women? It was because Ted was not handsome enough to lure the younger rich ones.
One one HK flights,Ted managed to hook Jes a fairly well to do lady pax of around 50 years old. Jes was a divorcee and she liked Ted because Ted cared for her like no cabin crew would care for her. Of course,Jes didn't know the reason Ted was so nice to her. He showered her with all the attention he could give on the flight between SIN/HKG. Jes was bought over by Ted's TLC (tender loving care..la). She invited Ted to her apartment during his 2 day stay in HKG.
The first thing Ted did when he checked into his hotel room in HKG that afternoon was to call Jes. She was flattered to hear Ted's voice over the phone. After all, Ted was in his mid 20s and she was 50. Jes was thinking dirty by this time and Ted led her on and on over the phone. She was determined to get Ted and make him her young lover. This off course what Ted was set out to achieve.
That evening,Jes cancelled her appointment with her BF and went over to Ted's hotel room. Jes did not make any false pretenses that she was hard to get but rather showed Ted she liked him and was willing to go to bed with him. But Ted was cool and wanted to play his cards right.
They went out for dinner at a nearby Chinese restaurant and from that one hour of dinning, Ted managed to dig out lots of info about Jes's wealth and her background.
Jes wasn't as rich as Ted had anticipated but was wealthy enough to give him a comfortable life if he was to be her lover. He was wanted to own his favorite Mercedes car and hope Jes could buy one for him.
They proceeded to Ted's hotel room after the dinner. Ted ordered drinks from the hotel and by 11 pm that night, they had downed at least $200 worth of drinks. Jes assured Ted that she would foot the bill and that pleased Ted.
After the drinking session,Jes persuaded Ted to have a bath with her. YesJes was unashamed to give a clear signal to the young Ted that she wanted sex with him. Jes was a "Mrs Robinson",hungering for a young man's love. That night, Ted did not disappoint his would be sugar mommy.
Whenever we flew with Ted, he would boast about his sugar mommy Jes. He would often tell us the gifts Jes showered him. He also claimed she would also give him $$ for staisfying her in bed.
We often teased Ted and asked him to introduce his sugar mom to us to prove he was telling the truth.
One day when Joe and I was working on the flight to HKG with Ted, he introduced us to Jes during our night stop. In fact,Ted brought us to Jes'sapartment and Jes invited us with open arms. Ted introduced us to Jes and her sweet 18 year old daughter Nan. Straightaway me and Joe was enchanted by Nan. We were both very attracted to Nan than Jes.
The next day, Jes brought us with her daughter Nan to Macau which was a 3 hour ride by ferry from HKG.
During the time we were gambling in the Macau casino, Joe was busy trying to hook Nan. Anyway,Nan liked Joe as he was the youngest amongst us and the best looking one. In the hotel room, Joe was flirting with Nan.
That evening ended with all the three of us, Jes,Ted and I making several thousand dollars from the casino. We left Macau early the next morning and flew off.
A few months later, I was told that Nan was made pregnant by Joe. Jes was angry with Ted and Joe. Nan was forced by her mom to abort the baby. Ted was blamed for the whole incidence. From that moment onwards, Jes did not welcomed us to her place anymore. Ted lost his sugar mommy because of Joe and they never spoke to each other (Ted and Joe) for many years to come.
From what we gathered, Ted only managed to scrounged a few thousand bucks from Jes. According to Ted it was worth it because he claimed Jes was a hot and sexy woman in bed and had taught him the real art of love making.
Even till the day he was retiring from the airline,Ted still dreamt and talked about having sugar mommies not realising he was already an old man.

Ex Stewardess,my trainee pt 2

As the ladies were busy chatting and eating,I started to wander around the house. I adjourned to the toilet and wanted to ease myself but heard a man's groan coming from a small room. Slowly, I opened the door and was shocked to see a pale old man tied to the bed. He was about 60 years old and looked pale and sick. He tried to tell me something but just couldn't understand him. His voice was soft and feeble. He mentioned something about Victoria. I couldn't figure out what he was trying to tell me.

All of a sudden, Vic was standing right behind me,looking furious. She was mad with me for going into the room. Vic took me by the hand and led me to the back portion of the house. She took out a cigarette and lit it with her lighter. She didn't even offer me the cigarette even knowing that I was a smoker. Vic was hopping mad. Her eyes began tearing as she tried to explain to me about the man that I saw earlier.
" Jack is my husband",Vic spoke audibly. "Jack had a stroke a few years ago and was almost totally paralysed" explained Vic. "Since then, I had to care for him. I employed a maid specially to attend to him"......"there was a little chance of recovery,I was told", said Vic. 'Jack begged me to end his life but I couldn't" Vic explained in between sobs.

Ex Stewardess,my trainee part 1

We bumped into each other about a year ago. We could instantly recognised one another. She was one of my favorite stewardess trainees way back in 1979. She was 18 when she joined SIA and so she must be 48 now. Pretty, dashing and looking sophisticated, she was very different from what I knew of her. We have not seen each other since she left SIA only after flying for about 8 months.

This sexy ex stewardess's name is Victoria. Vic recently invited me to her house for a BBQ party. This party was exclusive because she invited only friends who were close to her.
Vic's house was in the fashionable district of Bukit Timah, somewhere near the old Bt. Timah Turf Club. The house has a huge garden and is an ideal place for a BBQ.
There at the BBQ party,I met a good friend of Vic's by the name of Ginny. She was an American lady with whom Vic's has close business dealings,I was told. There was also a Chinese lady by the name of Lyn.She was awesomely beautiful wearing a low cut blouse almost exposing her 2 big front whenever she bend down. These guests as well as Vic did not have their husbands with them that night.....more later.

These captains are worthy of ....

I can name a few capts who earned the respect of the cc. They were Capt. Choy, late Capt MS Leong, late Capt Tommy Sung, Lenny Howe, Khairy,Freddy Koh, Albert Koh, Aubrey Tan and many others whom I cannot recalled at this moment.
At the same time there were idiotic capts who were hated by cc. These capts were petty, greedy, demanding and arrogant. There was one who would personally check the first class ovens to see that the lobsters were not eaten by the cc but reserved for him (he has since kicked the bucket for eating too many free lobsters,I supposed). Another few demanded the cc introduced themselves to him and his tc before the flight began. Others would merely talked to the stewardesses throughout the flight and ignored the male crew (chee koh peh type). There were some who would pretend to be nice to the cc-in-charge so they could get their chioce of f&b.
Those who earned the respects from cc were capts who were not the petty types and would come to the defence of the cc against nasty paxs. The also had the cc welfare at heart eg. they would make sure that cc had enough meals on the flight.

Cabin Crew vs Cockpit Crew(Technical Crew).

Relationship between cabin and cockpit crew has never been better,I was told. During the old days, pilots were a pain to cabin crew. Pilots were demanding in terms of food, drinks and respect from cabin crew (cc). If a cc didn't introduced oneself to the capt, then it became a big issue. Cc had been offloaded from flights by capts for trivial issues. The flight ops side at one stage had even ask the company to place cc under their charge. In this manner,cc division would have to report to flight ops,in short the capts would have more authority over cc. However, the idea was thrown out because SIA knew what the capts were up to.

These days, the relationship between the 2 divisions are much better. Capts are more understanding towards cc and the daunting task they face when serving full loads of passengers. In fact,SIA resolves the issue by adding a criteria in the promotion of co-pilots to capts. The issue of getting along well with cc is also an important aspect of promotion of pilots. The pilots who are competent in their flying technicalities and abilities must also be good in crew relationship and man management skills or otherwise would not be made a capt.
In the old days,if one can fly well and sucked up to the bosses would be promoted. The aspect of human relationship was not important. That resulted in us having capts who were poor in man management.
I also found out more and more gals wanting to marry pilots even though the salaries of pilots or at least the purchasing power of their money is not as strong as before. Why is it so? The answer may be due to the better understanding and rapport between the pilots and cc.
Pilots and cc pls correct me if I have gone wrong in posting the above....thank U!

My funny dreams

The other nite I dreamt of "soaring" in the sky but not ina SIA's plane. It was another airline I was with. I was the chief purser (equivalent of IFS in SQ la ah gong gong...hehehe). Then I saw all those stewardesses in our cabin NAKED serving the passengers. I can't believed what I saw and started to rub my eyes. I knew I was somewhere but not in reality realm.

One of the stewardesses then called me saying "hey boh tong don't just stand there and look at us, help us ok?" "Touch my tits and see whether they are firmed or not cos our company insist that all gals must have big firmed boobs.." I proceeded to gently feel her breasts and they felt warm and spongy. I told her she passed the co's test and all of a sudden she took me by my hand and led me to the Suite that was "beyond first class"...u know like the one on SQ A380. She pinnd me down on the bed and started to strip her uniform. Now I remember her uniform looked like the ones SQ gals wear. But it was different bcos the designer was a China man by the name of How Lian. Mind, I was so confused bcos I don't know where I was.....u know like in most dreams...

The next thing I realised when I wanted to strip myself and have that stewardess, I was in a cafe in London. It was strange because I have not been to London for the last 2 years. I was with a lady passenger of mine. She was a blond with blue eyes, about 30 years old and she was rubbing my thigh under our table. I felt sexually aroused and I took her back to Gloucester.

JK left SIA for an Indian airline

He was my ex colleague and a great guy.He was offered a better paying job with an Indian airline and so he packed up and left for India. As a cabin crew trainer, his salary came up to S$12,000 per month. In SIA, JK was paid about half the amount. The gratuity he got from SIA after serving 30 years came to about 150k. JK was a happy and contented man and an envy of other trainers inSIA.
But 8 months into his new job in India,JK wanted throw in the towel. The office politics almost killed him. He was shocked to discover so much back stabbing going on in the office. His GM ( Wormy) felt intimidated by his presence. JK was an efficient trainer, majoring counselling with an MBA. His GM was an ex flight steward with an Asian airline who rose to his rank by sucking up to his bosses.
The chairman of this Indian airline like JK because he was an able trainer. He was promoted after a short while to the position of a manager. GM Wormy became intimidated and conspired with the training manager (Mikey) to get rid of JK.
One evening, Wormy and Mikey invited JK to one of their apartments for a party. JK was told that one of their Indian stewardesses was celebrating her birthday. JK accepted and arrived at Wormy's apartment punctually that evening.

In a short while after Jk arrived at Wormy'sapartment, some 5 Indian stewardesses knocked at the door. These girls were stunningly beautiful and full of sex appeal. They were specially chosen by Wormy to attend the party.
After several rounds of cocktail drinks, they started to eat their dinner of lamb masala, curries etc. They began to chat and made small talk.
Following dinner, the girls started to dance to the rock music put on by Wormy. One by one the girls began to strip to their bras and panties and danced like professional belly dancers. They swayed their bums and lowered their breasts right in front ofJK,trying to seduce him.
Jk had a hard-on and but disciplined himself, refraining from fondling the sexy girls. Jk knew very well what could happen to him should he touched any of these stewardesses,be it off or on duty. He learnt of the consequences he would face if they accused him of molest during his SIA days. Besides,he suspected Wormy and Mikey were trying to fix him up.
Jk tried holding his drinks and not get drunk.
Throughout the night,Jk did not misbehaved himself. There was no chance of Wormy fixing him up. The cctv captured nothing of JK'smisbehaviour. Wormy and Mikey were truly disappointed.
Guess what? Jk managed to get one of the girls back to his apartment without the knowledge of Wormy or Mikey. Jk was good at discreetly taking Leila home. After all,Leila took a liking to JK. Which stewardess won't when JK a seniorexecutive coupled with his youthful looks was behaving like a gentleman in the wild sexy party......more later.

Most popular senior vice president of cabin crew is ......

Sim Kay Wee is voted by my readers as the best SVPCC ever! Sim left SIA just after he "retired" us CCEs and AMs. Unfortunately for Sim who had served SIA in the management positions loyally left SIA without getting a cent. He left the company because he could not get along with his bosses. Yet he was the man who got us the "Golden Handshake" back in 2003.

After leaving SQ,Sim became the CEO of the then newly established Valuair. Again he couldn't get along with his colleagues and left.
Sim wrote a couple of books of which "Surviving the corporate jungle : a practical guide to pepare you for corporate life " is my favourite.
Sim holds a 2nd class upper honours in political science. He joined SIA way back in the early 1970s and rose from the rank of trainee manager to SVP in the 1990s.
This chap was a no nonsense boss who loved the union and got along incredibly well with its president,Eddy Chew an IFS.
Sim wasn't well liked by his CCEs especially the senior ones who were non graduates. Frankly, the CCEs couldn't stand him and vice versa. The CCEs deemed Sim to be a sly fox,all out to rid them because they were non graduates and too clever for his comfort (Sim succeeded to a certain extent in 2003).
All said and to be fair to Sim,the crew thought he was a better SVP than most, hence the 46% of votes he captured here.
Sim is currently living in Adelaide,Australia.

A distant second in the poll was  Yap Kim Wah who is still with SIA. Yap was the SVP cabin crew in the 1980s. He was extremely popular with his crew and the CCEs. Yap came in to cabin crew division as a acting SVP from his former position as General Manager of SIA cargo department. His success in cabin crew was mainly due to the backing and co-operation of his CCEs as well as the union and crew. He was made an SVP within a short time in cabin crew.
The  14% vote he obtained in the poll was largerly due to the profile of respondents. Many new crew do not know Yap because he was in charge of cabin crew in the 80s. Otherwise, I think he would outdo Sim in the poll.
Yap holds a first class honours in Chemical Engineering from NUS.

As for the current SVP Tan Pee Teck who scored a miserable 11%,I don't have the real answer. Tan,as I understand is a nice and pleasant boss to work with. I have never worked under Tan because he came to cabin crew after I've left the airline.
One of the reasons he scored poorly is also because he is one guy who does not socialise much with his crew so I was told.

Eddie J was a SVP who loves fine women, wine and song. But then which man does not huh? Eddie was perhaps the kindest and most generous boss we ever had. I remember a time when one of our colleagues was on the verge of being made  a bankrupt due to some unpayable loans, Eddie chipped in $5,000 and together with our donations saved that colleague. The CEO asked Eddie to sack that colleague but Eddie stood firmed and said no to his boss.
There were countless ocassions when Eddie paid for our outings, karaoking, drinks etc. He was not only generous and kind but a motivating SVP who inspired us to give our best to SIA.

Thoeng another SVP was a "diplomat". He was a gentleman and a man full of humour. He liked to joke and made people laugh. I enjoyed his company.

As for Chris Lee I wouldn't want to say much except that he was boring and follow-the book type. All he wanted was work ,work, work and more work from his subordinates.

Bosses who've earned my respect

Can only think of a few managers with whom I enjoyed working for. These bosses are decisive and supportive. They didn't worry too much about their svps and dare to make decision without much consultation. Many times, they were being screwed for that. Nevertheless their decisions to discipline or take corrective measures etc had earned much respect and admiration from people like us. Here,I would like to name 2 managers who were admirable and they were the late Mr. Cyril Teo and Mr. Edward Lim whom I believed left SQ and joined Emirates Airlines in the 1980s.

Later after the polls have closed I would give my opinion of the svps we had worked under. Good or bad,I will be honest with my views.

Bosses who should be fired!

Having good bosses or seniors is an important aspect of working life.It either kills your motivation to work harder or makes you look forward to going to work everyday.

I will touch on the former first i.e. having bad bosses.
Over a long period of time working for SQ,I have worked under more lousy bosses than good ones.
The managers were the worst lot. Most were back-boneless creatures who would sucked up to their svps or seniors. They were indecisive and adopted the "don't rock the boat" attitude. Working under such bosses was very discomforting, demotivating and frustrating.
Just to illustrate what do I mean was a case whereby one of my colleagues, a trainer CCE was shouted at and scolded by a TRAINEE stewardess in the presence of the whole class was told by his training manager to give the rude trainee a second chance. The CCE recommended the girl be sacked.
Another case was a TRAINEE steward who defied and challenged the trainer to sack him was let off the hook by the training manager. Fortunately for the division, svp Thoeng overruled and sacked that gangster-like trainee.
The main reason for not wanting to dismissed those rude and arrogant trainees was "too much admin work would be involved and have to answer to many questions etc..."
Crew who had strong link with the union were also let off the hook even though they had committed serious offences ....reason? want to maintain good relations with the union. Other crew were sacked and some was even referred to the police eg. chief steward Jimmy Woon's case. Worst still would be those who openly opposed the union.
Well well,I hope the current managers and senior staff aren't like those during my time.
